I’ve been working on building up some of my Pinterest boards, particularly for kitchen and bathroom inspiration, over the past year and thought it would be fun to share some of my favorites every week. I may share a few pins that were popular with my followers and a few that I’m particularly drawn to.

This isn’t a huge kitchen, but it has lots of fun details that make it feel special like the moldings on the ceiling, patterned tile floor, and black and brass sconces over the large window.

This is such a cute little bathroom, and it shows that you can add usable storage even in a small space. Symmetrical corner shelves on either side of the pedestal sink store can hold towels and other toiletries. I love the vintage mirror layered on the white shiplap, but I would lower those sconces down about six inches.

The blue seagull wallpaper on the ceiling of this little boy nursery is so fun and whimsical. The simple flat moldings add depth and dimension, while the stacked crown molding emphasizes the ceiling plane. It feels classic yet fresh and modern at the same time.

There’s so much to love about this feminine bathroom…a marble herringbone floor, marble countertops, brass fixtures and accents, and mirrors layered on mirrors. The brass and lucite cabinet pulls are the perfect finishing touch.

This image shows just one view of a fabulous kitchen remodel by Kristin of Bliss@Home. She kept the original footprint and cabinetry as well as the soffits, but she painted the cabinets white and add trim details to the soffits to make them feel integrated into the design. Such a great trick! I’ve been considering doing it in my own kitchen. The accordion sconces are a fun detail, and the brass and black shelves really pop off the marble backsplash.
