The existing kitchen in this mid-century ranch was severely outdated, cramped, and inefficient. There was little opportunity to improve the layout in the existing space, so we proposed removing the wall between the kitchen and dining room. The dining room shifted into the adjacent space, which was previously a formal living room. We were able to create a large eat-in kitchen with a peninsula and built-in banquette. The clients now have plenty of storage and room for entertaining.
